What a day. Just finished a really brilliant day at Nangor Road. The sun shone bright and hot in the Dublin sky, the training room was sweltering and although we were hot, not one of us yearned to sunbath by the canal nearby. Such was the enthusiasm and positive energy in the room we almost forgot about the afternoon tea break. Eunice is a really great lecturer, no not lecturer, a really great teacher. A practical demonstrator of Chinese medicine that makes you think you were at the writing of the Huang Di Nei Jing, she makes you feel comfortable with this ancient art, and she strictly points out where you need to improve, no-one escapes her "recommendations on needle technique". A bundle of seemingly unbridled energy, she puts her heart and soul into the workshop and it showed the complete notes we received but more so in the hand-on practical acupuncture demonstrations. Skills were learnt today that according to our teacher must be practiced tomorrow and all the day's after that as well until perfection is achieved. I wish I could write more but I have to practice my needle technique...
