In Galway this year the Galway Chinese medicine group will celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Rabbit with a series of talks, workshops and exhibitions. The group is made up of qualified practitioners in the city, who are all so enthusiastic about their medicine.

On the day you can come in to have your Pulse and Tongue diagnosis by qualified practitioners.

There will be a number of 15 minute talks on Acupuncture, Cosmetic acupuncture, Tuina Chinese medical acupressure, Cupping, Moxibustion, Herbal medicine, Fertility, Children’s acupressure, weight loss plus so much more.



There will be an exhibition of over 30 practitioners on show and you can ask all the questions you ever wanted to know regarding this ancient yet very relevant medicine.

This event is free and open to the public. Donations, if desired, to Cancer Care West.

This talk covers the important aspects of pregnancy and highlights the benefits that Acupuncture can provide to help you through this process by alleviating the typical complications associated with pregnancy such as nausea, morning sickness, back pain, constipation and sciatica.

You may have seen James O'Sullivan on TV3 Morning Ireland, RTE Health Squad, TV3 Expose plus other media where he makes this ancient Chinese Acupressure look easy. James is the authority on Tuina Acupressure here in Ireland and a visiting lecturer to Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. This short workshop is very popular and it demonstrates the effectivness of this hands on acupressure, which has already helped many. Come along and learn how to treat yourself with the help of James!

Infertility: With so many gynecologists today recommending patients to have acupuncture support to complement their infertility treatment. Tongue and Pulse Diagnosis
Tongue and pulse diagnosis are the two pillars of Chinese medicine and the most important diagnostic skills of every acupuncturist. They are both used to derive a TCM diagnosis for your health condition which is used to plan your treatment. Generally the tongue, is much easier to learn and less subjective than pulse diagnosis. Have your Tongue and Pulse diagnosised at the exhibition.
