China Clinical Training Trip 2008
Tour dates: 17th July to 17th August
Tour price includes:
· Return flights from Dublin to Beijing with Turkish Airlines
· Tuition fees to Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine including translator.
· Campus Accommodation (single room with own toilet, wash facilities, shower)
· All Entrance fees to various sight seeing e.g. Great Wall, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Forbidden city, etc
· Explore old Beijing by rickshaw (Hutong tour)
· Services of an English speaking guide
Price does not include your food which should be calculated at approx. €15 per day.

Chinese entry/exit VISA: your passport “expiry date” should have 6 months after departure, a requirement of the Chinese Embassy.
Tickets: We will hold the tickets so that we can group check-in and arrange for seats together for our trip (if possible).
Some things you may need to know:
Travelling Insurance: please arrange for your own travelling insurance and the type of cover you would like.
Travellers Cheques: Your bank may require several weeks notice to order Travellers Cheques. There is only one bank that will exchange traveller’s cheques. The Bank of China.
Euros are accepted and can be exchanged in any bank. A lot of traders will also accept them or US Dollars
Credit Cards: you can pay for goods in most large stores by credit card; however you will get a much better deal paying for cash in the smaller shops. I am waiting for confirmation that our Hotel can be paid for by credit card. The Hotel will NOT accept credit card payments.
ATM machines: will accept Bank Link cards. Please ask your bank!!
Vaccinations: Please check with your medical doctor or the tropical medicine centre.
OTC medicine: Bring some common medicines with you, e.g. for headache, tummy upsets, insect bites, etc.
Clothing: light and respectable. If you are studying acupuncture please do not wear sandals!
